After a long cold, wet spell, we had a perfect weekend of  pure sunshine and temperatures hovering around 70.  The fall colors were in full bloom, and unlike just a few weeks later, things were so bright and green we actually had to wait for darkness to begin to set in.  It was so great to photograph this family again. Last year, I photographed their extended family, 14 in all. This year, I spent about an hour with the 4 of them, exploring, climbing, and hiking at Hawthorn Nature Center. Here are a few highlights:
